You have a nice site – you do, right? (If you don’t, why don’t you skedaddle over this way first.) I was saying – you have a nice site but if you’re not on page 1 for a pertinent search term, what’s the point of that nice site? It’s kinda like if you built a custom Tesla; you chose the perfect tone of leather for the dash, you made a mold of your ass for the seat, it’s unlocked by your breath. You spent a lot of dough on the car of your dreams. The guys come on a beautiful Autumn morning to drop it off in front of your house. You get in and turn the key and it doesn’t turn over. Websites should be living, breathing creatures. You should be feeding the ever hungry Google monster. And it’s a monster. It never stops looking for content. But it will only eat content that it deems worthy of being in its belly. It’s picky, and it constantly changes what it likes. If you’re not working with an SEO specialist that keeps up with these nerdy, constantly changing algorithms you’re gonna find that your rankings are lacking. SEO is also a long term game. Anyone that promises you quick results is a pretty little liar. I always suggest putting in at least 6 months on a strategic SEO plan. We already know that Google is a hungry B*tch, well he’s also coy and untrusting. It takes consistent work to get Google to trust your website. I’ll say it again, don’t trust yourself to take this one on.

Depending on what industry you’re in will determine the plan of action, but all strategies start with an overhaul to your existing site from an SEO standpoint.
